Mariaan aka "M" or "Marian"- 27 year young JHB girl. LOVE THE CITY! Accounting Manager for a Software Development company in Sandton. I don't know if anyone noticed this before, but accountants kick ass with tiny details. Because of this, I can sit for hours in front of my PC and design. It's my escape. Come home from a long day at the office, and I can sit for another 8 hours and let my creative juices flow. From a young age I've had a love for art and with our everyday changing technology, turning my sketches in digital art, it's just amazing.

Derick aka "diekwagga" - 27 year young JHB guy. Doesn't love the city that much. Software Developer for a Development company in the East Rand. Derick has been in computers his whole life. As technology advanced, he wanted to know how to do the same. Derick graduated from CTI with a International Diploma in Information Systems Engineering. With this he then started his career, from a desktop support techy to now a Software Developer. Derick is a total computer geek.

Marian & Derick - (This is our a epic love story) We met YEEEARS ago, in primary school. Not friends but connected in the same friends circle. As years past, primary, high school, after school, 3 years and 9 months ago we starting chatting on facebook (Thank you technology!!) You know how you invite everyone from primary school and high school even though you were not friends and haven't seen each other in ages, well this was one of those. Within a few months, I knew he was the one. 2 years later he popped the question and here we are, we're getting married 25th October 2014. Can hardly wait!

Enough soppy, back to business...

Earlier this year we decided that we should start our own business, and what better way than to use both our loves and turning it into something we can share with all of you and each other.

And thus the birth of PrettyGeeky. We are very excited about our PrettyGeeky journey and what the future holds. Our aim is not to have a mass production designing company, it's to do something that we love.

We want to create something that we are proud of, each with it's own personal touch.
